Dashboard

The dashboard is your daily command center for lawn health. It surfaces the most important information at a glance — what Sprigg recommends today, current conditions, upcoming tasks, and historical trends.

Property Overview

At the top of the dashboard, you'll see your active property name, address, and grass type. If you have multiple properties, use the property selector in the navigation bar to switch between them.

The irrigation mode indicator shows whether your system is in Active (auto-watering) or Audit (recommendations only) mode. You can change the mode from the Settings page.

Lawn Health Pulse

The Health Pulse provides a visual snapshot of your lawn's overall condition. It considers multiple factors including:

  • Current weather conditions and forecast
  • Disease risk levels
  • Water budget status (ahead, on-track, or behind)
  • Recent care activities

Today's Plan

This card shows the AI-generated irrigation recommendations for today. For each zone, you'll see:

  • Whether watering is recommended or skipped
  • Recommended runtime in minutes
  • Number of cycles (for zones with cycle-soak enabled)
  • The reasoning behind the decision

In Active mode, these recommendations are automatically executed. In Audit mode, they serve as guidance for manual watering decisions.

Current Conditions

A real-time snapshot of weather and lawn health conditions:

  • Temperature — Current air temperature
  • Humidity — Relative humidity percentage
  • Wind — Speed and direction
  • Disease risk — Current fungal disease risk level (low, moderate, high, or critical)
  • Weather description — Current sky conditions

Next Up

Shows upcoming lawn care events from your calendar — fertilizer applications, aeration, overseeding, mowing, and other scheduled activities. This helps you plan your week and ensures the AI factors upcoming activities into its watering decisions.

Weather Trend Chart

A visual chart showing weather trends including temperature highs and lows, precipitation probability, and expected rainfall. This helps you understand why Sprigg might skip watering on certain days (e.g., rain is forecast) or increase watering on hot, dry stretches.

The available history range depends on your plan — from 30 days on Enthusiast to a full year of weather data on Lawn Nerd. Weather data is stored permanently so your historical trends are always available.

Water Applied Chart

Tracks weekly irrigation totals by zone, showing:

  • Applied water — Inches delivered by your irrigation system
  • Effective rainfall — Natural precipitation captured by your soil
  • Weekly target — Your configured target adjusted for ET and conditions
  • Pace status — Whether you're ahead, on-track, behind, or critically under-watered

Tips Strip

Contextual tips and advice that update based on current conditions. For example, you might see tips about adjusting mowing height during heat stress, or reminders about pre-emergent application windows.

Weekly Summary

A link at the bottom of the dashboard takes you to the full weekly summary — a detailed report of the past week's irrigation activity, water usage, weather patterns, and AI decision history. Use this to review how Sprigg managed your lawn and spot any trends.
